Small Scale Gardening that makes a Big Statement

Make your plants feel special and let them have the window-seat or a place on your patio, deck or the front of your house. Picture the classic eye-catcher that welcomes guests: a narrow box filled and painted perfectly to match the house trim and much more.

It's almost spring and time to think about all things flowering. Where to start? View 80+ narrated slides showing a variety of planters, some do’s and don’ts, sample window boxes, containers and strawberry pots using an array of annuals, herbs, and perennials. Receive handouts, and participate in various raffles and a silent auction that centers on “your garden” and this presentation.

  • Free admission.
  • Space limited to 50 people.
  • Registration required.
  • Proceeds will be donated to Haddasah by our speaker.

Andrew E. Schwartz is a corporate management development professional, author and passionate gardener who got bitten by the garden bug over 20 years ago. He grew up on a 14 acre property in the Berkshires having both his parents as master gardeners. As a young boy he worked along side them and started transforming his own family Cape house into a natural showplace over 18 years ago. “Its-Your-Garden” took shape after neighbors approached him for his advice. Many of the properties he has transformed, refurbished and tended are now welcome additions to community Garden tour schedules.
